This Privacy Policy explains what information MarksRiser ("we", "our", "us") collects when you use marksriser.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

3. Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed through our payment gateway, Razorpay. Your card, UPI and other payment credentials are entered into and handled by the payment gateway. MarksRiser does not store complete card or UPI credentials on its systems.

We do store subscription and transaction records — such as the plan purchased, order and transaction identifiers, amount, payment status and payment date — so that we can activate your subscription, provide support and verify refund requests.

4. Third-Party Services

We share information only with the service providers we actually use to run MarksRiser:

• Razorpay — payment gateway for subscription payments.
• Firebase (Google) — account authentication, including Google sign-in and email / mobile OTP verification.
• Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — application hosting and storage of uploaded content and images.
• Vercel — hosting of the MarksRiser website.
• Supabase (PostgreSQL) — database hosting for account, test and subscription data.
• Sentry — error and performance monitoring.
• OpenAI, Google Gemini and Mathpix — AI and API providers used to generate explanations, analysis, recommendations and to process question content.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and save test progress on your device. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the Platform is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Platform may then not work correctly.

6. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Account passwords are not stored by MarksRiser — sign-in is handled by Firebase authentication. Access to production systems is restricted, and we review our security practices regularly. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please protect your own account credentials as well.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account information, test attempts and performance history for as long as your account is active, so that your progress and analytics remain available to you. Payment and subscription records are retained for as long as needed for accounting, support and dispute-resolution purposes. Test progress saved in your browser is cleared automatically after 7 days.

8. Account / Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@marksriser.com from your registered email address. Deleting your account removes your access to the Platform and to your test history. Some records may be retained where we are required to keep them, for example payment records.

9. User Rights

• Opt out of non-essential emails
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

10. Children / Minor Users

MarksRiser is used by NEET aspirants, and some of them are under 18. If you are a minor, you should use MarksRiser with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and the account should be created and paid for by them. A parent or guardian may contact us at support@marksriser.com to review or request deletion of a minor's account and data.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Significant changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email.
